The SE8 waiter droid was a model of service droid manufactured by Industrial Automaton that saw use in the Canto Casino of the city Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica.
Description
An Industrial Automaton product, the SE8 waiter droid was a humanoid servant droid designed to deliver refreshments. Illuminated indicators on the droid's glossy black torso changed color to denote drink specials, and the SE8 was capable of weaving through crowds[2] with state-of-the-art gyroscopic systems and programming to help them avoid collisions with customers and guests.[1]
History
Numerous SE8 waiter droids were employed at Canto Casino in Canto Bight on Cantonica,[4] and bore trays of drinks to guests and gamblers on the casino floor.[1] A SE8 droid served Crimson Dawn in Cataract Base, where the droid served Qi'ra and Cadeliah after the destruction of the Orphans.[5]
