Cataract Base, also known as Dawnfall Base,[2] was a safe house used by the Crimson Dawn criminal syndicate during the Imperial Era.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[3] Lady Qi'ra, Crimson Dawn's leader, had Cadeliah moved to the base[1] in order to keep her safe.[4] After the destruction of the Vermillion, it became the secret headquarters of Crimson Dawn,[5] and Qi'ra traveled to the base with the Orphans, where she revealed to them the fleet she had been building and told of her plans to unleash it against the Sith.[1]
