The S50C deflector shield was a model of deflector shield used on starships. Upgrading an EML-850 light freighter previously equipped with the less robust S30B deflector shield to a S50C deflector shield cost 1500 credits and required a X-FP-C28 ship computer, fifteen units of quadanium steel, and seven heuristic processors.[1]
During 3 ABY[2] the thief Kay Vess paid for the services of a starship mechanic to upgrade her EML-850 light freighter Trailblazer's deflector shield from a S30B model to a S50C providing the necessary parts.[1]
Behind the scenes
S50C deflector shield appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game, Star Wars Outlaws.[1]
