S30B deflector shield

The S30B deflector shield was a model of deflector shield for starships. Upgrading an EML-850 light freighter previously equipped with the less robust S15A deflector shield to a S30B deflector shield cost five hundred credits and required five units of durasteel, and two 4XB Calculation Units.[1]

During 3 ABY[2] the thief Kay Vess paid for the services of a starship mechanic to upgrade her EML-850 light freighter Trailblazer's deflector shield from a S15A model to a S30B providing the necessary parts. Later she further upgrade to the S50C deflector shield.[1]
