An S-foil servo actuator was part of the T-65 X-wing starfighter's S-foil deployment system. The Actuator was comprised of twin powerful servos that moved the S-foils into attack position. Once in position, the servos were locked in place by cold-weld arrestors.[1]
The StarViper-class attack platform used S-Foil Servo Actuators to move four adjustable wings during flight and combat maneuvers.[2]
