During the Imperial Era, the Galactic Empire operated a deepdock at Ryloth.[1] The planet was located in the Gaulus sector's Ryloth system,[2] a part of the Slice[4] and the Outer Rim Territories'[2] Spice Triangle.[3] The Ryloth deepdock was located in grid square R-17 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[5] The Imperial Navy's Venator-class Star Destroyer Electrum was stationed at the deepdock; however,[1] by 14 BBY,[6] the Star Destroyer had been loaned out to serve in the flotilla of the Imperial facility known as Sentinel Base.[1]

The deepdock was mentioned in the novel Tarkin, which was written by James Luceno and released in 2014.[1]
