Rs was a type of currency used on[1] the small planet[2] Golak during the Imperial Era. At the Golak Mahal[1] cantina,[3] an Aki-Aki sold the dish pani puri at a stall for 70 rs. The price was written in green Aurebesh text on a blue sign.[1]
Behind the scenes
Rs was mentioned on a sign in "The Bandits of Golak," a non-canon short film released as part of the second volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by 88 Pictures, was released on Disney+[1] on May 4, 2023.[4] In real life, Rs is the abbreviation for the rupee,[5] a monetary unit in multiple countries, including India, Nepal, and Pakistan.[6]
