This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy.[1] Rott Mercer was a member of this species.[2]
Biology and appearance
This bipedal humanoid sentient species was distinguished by their human-like appearance, though they had extremely close-set eyes, and small bumps covering most of their heads.[1]
Species in the galaxy
In 132 BBY,[3] a member of this species, Rott Mercer,[2] was a cybernetic convict who was present on the Palwick, a prison transport. During an escape attempt, the convict managed to disable the pilot droids who controlled the ship, though they were but was re-arrested by the Jedi Order shortly thereafter.[1]
Behind the scenes
The species made their debut in the first episode of the 2024 television series, Star Wars: The Acolyte, directed by Leslye Headland,[1] before being shown in better detail in previews for the Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide.[2] They were designed by concept artist Ivan Manzella, who experimented with making them blue, though the more human-like appearance was later settled upon.[4]
