Risso was a planet located[3] in the Risso system,[1] situated in the Trailing Sectors[2] portion of the Inner Rim region, in grid square N-14 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It shared its name with the Risso hot springs moon,[4] located in the same system,[1] which was known for its thermal waters.[4] In 34 ABY,[5] author and historian Eloc Throno included a map with the location of Risso in his book Traveler's Guide to Batuu, a guide that detailed the planet Batuu and its inhabitants.[3]
Behind the scenes
Risso was first mentioned in the 2020 reference book Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Traveler's Guide to Batuu, written by Cole Horton.[3]
