Rimmer's Rest,[1] also known as the Smuggler's Bar,[2] was a cantina located on Nar Shaddaa. Han Solo and Vharn met with the bounty hunter Beilert Valance in the cantina during the Galactic Civil War.[1]

Behind the scenes

Rimmer's Rest originated in the Legends continuity in the 1997 video game Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, where it was labeled as Smuggler's Bar, and the companion novel Dark Forces: Rebel Agent that named it as Rimmer's Rest. The 2019 comic story "Two Sides to Every Sortie" in Empire Ascendant 1 reintroduced it to the new Star Wars canon, and the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws was the first to reference the Smuggler's Bar name.
