The human father of the technician Rilo Grenth served as the head of Grenth Technologies which was located on the planet Hosnian Prime. The corporation was frequently forced to undertake Imperial contracts, but was eventually fully taken over by the Galactic Empire, which eventually led Rilo Grenth to being sent to the moon of Endor to implement and test the interconnectivity protocols of the Death Star's shield generator's system. While stationed on the moon, Grenth wrote letters to his father.[1]
