- "We've got concussions, a fractured arm, a hand with no meat on it, and our medics are tied up removing a rib from a lung."
- ―Lieutenant Piloc
Ribs were the supporting structure of a being's chest anatomy. The large lizard-like brezaks had a flexible rib cage, allowing them to deploy their skin flaps in order to glide through the air.[2] The Trandoshan Cradossk, former leader of the Bounty Hunters' Guild, kept the ribs of his vanquished foes in his bone chamber.[3]
"Ribs" also described the meat surrounding the rib cage that were often eaten as a delicacy. Types of ribs included Dewback ribs, karkan ribenes and traladon ribs.
