"He's doing it again."
"He's what?"
"He's tearing the ship apart."
Kouru and Ekiya, referring to the Ronin's destruction of the Reverent[1]

The Reverent was an Imperial Dreadnought that served as the flagship of the Jedi lord Hanrai. The ship was white and flecked with gold, and the former Sith known as the Ronin compared it to a palace in the shape of a knife. The ship had lavish halls made of organic material, and gardens styled to evoke the current season in the territory on the planet Watoru where Hanrai's home estate was located. The Reverent was destroyed by the Ronin after he was captured and brought aboard it in the Dekien system.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Reverent appeared in the 2021 non-canon novel Ronin: A Visions Novel, written by Emma Mieko Candon.[1] According to Candon, the interior of the ship takes inspiration from Japanese palaces, with its gardens evoking the natural world, as opposed to faithfully replicating them.[2]

Still strikingly white and imposing in its clean beauty, accented by red, green, and gold. Within the Dreadnought, it’s autumn. Garden upon garden has been built inside it, following the aesthetic of Japanese gardens that EVOKE the natural world (rather than exactly replicating it.)" (backup link)
