Rekkana was a shipyard planet home to the Rekk, who were known for their skills in creating automatic systems. Shortly after the Battle of Endor, Lando Calrissian picked up a distress call from Rekkana while on his way to return the Millennium Falcon to Han Solo, making a detour to investigate the mention of Imperial forces. Upon arriving above Rekkana, he was attacked by TIE fighters that showed signs of being computer-controlled.[2]
