Rebel Outpost, also known as the Rebel Village, was an Alliance to Restore the Republic base established on an island during the Galactic Civil War. Initially founded by Captain Bravara after Alliance forces crash landed on the island following an emergence through a rift in space-time, Rebel Outpost was gradually upgraded, defended, and expanded by a Rebel known as "Recruit." All the while, the remaining members of Bravara's squadron located and settled into the outpost. After completing Rebel Outpost, the squadron decided to remain there permanently.

Description

"Clear some space and build a Command Center!"
―Bravara, to "Recruit"[1]

Rebel Outpost,[1] also known as the Rebel Village,[2] was an Alliance to Restore the Republic crash site that was converted into a makeshift base. The camp consisted of an entrance gate built out of scrapped T-65B X-wing starfighter s-foils, several stacks of crates, a central totem with a miniature BTL Y-wing starfighter atop it, and a campfire. Additionally, the camp was initially littered with several crashed X-wings and rubble.[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon.

Gradually, the rubble and crashed starfighters were cleared and replaced with several other buildings. These included a farm with laser fences, a stable utilized for animal husbandry, at least one small barn, a workshop, a watchtower, and a command center. The outpost was also furnished with at least seven beds, a standard workstation, and a Rebel Workbench. The workshop, watchtower, and command center were all fashioned with awnings made from scrapped X-wing s-foils. As the village was upgraded, the totem changed its miniature starship from a Y-wing to an X-wing, then later a YT-1300 light freighter.[1]

Behind the scenes

Rebel Outpost appeared and was identified in the 2023 video game LEGO Fortnite Odyssey,[1] having first been added in the game's v29.40 update on May 3, 2024. It was first mentioned as "Rebel Village" in an announcement from the Fortnite development team on May 1, 2024.[2] In the game, it serves as the main point of interest for the player, who can gradually upgrade and expand the outpost as they play. As LEGO Fortnite is a sandbox video game, this article only describes the game content that the player is required to interact with and construct in Rebel Outpost in order to achieve 100% completion.[1]
