- "Ok, ready position. Sabine! Ready position?"
- ―Ezra Bridger
The ready position was one of the most basic stances in lightsaber combat, as taught in the Jedi Order. It involved holding the hilt of one's lightsaber at waist level with both hands as one ignited the blade.[1]
When the Jedi Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger taught the Mandalorian warrior Sabine Wren how to wield the Darksaber, Jarrus had Bridger show her the ready position and the other lightsaber forms.[2]
