Cho mai was a lightsaber combat technique, one of the marks of contact.[1]

Behind the scenes

Cho mai first appeared in canon in the audio play Dooku: Jedi Lost.[1] In the Legends continuity, cho mai was the specific technique of severing an opponent's weapon hand.[2]
