Ran-D housekeeper droids were hovering droids that maintained living spaces.

A few were visible floating in Mama's house on Nal Hutta and some could be seen working in a cantina around 21 BBY during the events of the Clone Wars.

The Ran-D housekeeper droids are an homage to the flying robots of Industrial Light & Magic's 1987 film *batteries not included.[1]
