The astromech droid R5-D56 rode in a cart pushed by the former Sith known as the Ronin while the two traversed the snowy mountain Mount Hakamori. Two legs extended from the front half of the cart, while the back half floated above the ground. When the Ronin and R5-D56 crossed a gap in the mountain using the leg of a fallen All Terrain Armored Transport as a bridge, bandits attempted to steal R5-D56. The droid revealed the cart's hidden weaponry and launched missiles at the bandits, leaving only one alive. R5-D56 later left the cart to bathe in a hot spring and was once again pushed in it by the Ronin when they departed the next morning.
Description
A cart was ridden in by the astromech droid[1] R5-D56.[2] Two stretchable legs extended from the front half of the cart and ended in long, flat feet, while the back half of the cart floated above the ground. Bamboo lightsabers lined the top of the cart's left and right sides. A handle was located in the back of the cart to push it forward, and the cart's front panel could open.[3] Hatches on all four of the sides of the cart concealed at least twenty-seven weapons, including blasters and missile launchers, some of which had glowing red or blue lights.[1]
History
R5-D56 in the cart
R5-D56 was pushed in the cart by[1] the former Sith[2] known as the Ronin while the two traversed the snowy mountain[1] Mount Hakamori.[3] When the Ronin and R5-D56 used the leg of a fallen All Terrain Armored Transport as a bridge to cross a gap in the mountain, their path was blocked by bandits who were attempting to steal R5-D56. They fired on the Ronin with blasters, but he deflected their bolts. R5-D56 then opened the cart's hatches to reveal its hidden weaponry and fired missiles at the bandits, killing all but one. The Ronin and R5-D56 continued on their way, eventually arriving at a hot spring, where R5-D56 left the cart to bathe in the spring. The next morning, they departed the hot spring, with the Ronin once again pushing R5-D56 in the cart.[1]
Owners and operators

Behind the scenes
R5-D56's cart appeared in the non-canon one-shot comic Visions 1, written and illustrated by Takashi Okazaki and published by Marvel Comics[1] on October 12, 2022.[4] Prior to the comic's release, it was first pictured in a StarWars.com article published on June 15 of that year that included concept art of the cart by Okzazaki.[3]
