The Quizzers were a mammalian species native to Gamorr which were fascinated by shiny objects. They shared Gamorr with the Gamorreans and the Morrts. The Quizzers were hated by the dominant Gamorreans, who tried without success to exterminate the species.
Biology and appearance
Quizzers were small, bipedal mammals that had prehensile tails and opposable thumbs. Their limbs ended in claws that enabled them to be proficient climbers. The species had four bony plates that came out of their backs, but the purpose of these were unknown. Scientists speculated that they were used for body heat control or to protect the creatures from getting attacked from behind.[1]
The animals reproduced via live birth to litters of three to five offspring. Female quizzers would then use the pouch on their stomachs to protect the newborns until they were able to survive on their own. Quizzers ate mostly fruit and leaves.[1]
Behavior
Quizzers had a fondness of shiny objects, and would often steal things from people on the ground. They communicated via a series of chirps, barks, and howls.[1]
