Quadanium steel,[2] or simply quadanium, was a metallic substance. It was used in the construction of ships and battle stations.[3]
The hull of the DS-1 Orbital Battle Station was made of rectangular plates of quadanium.[3] Some catalyst reactant cradles had a quadanium sheath.[4] The First Order flagship Supremacy had quadanium armor plating.[5] The solar arrays of TIE fighter wings were framed by rigid quadanium steel foil as well.[6]
Quadanium was used the manufacture of various starship weapon and defensive systems such as LC-70 laser cannons, C-K10A rapid fire cannons, C-K12B rapid fire cannons, C-5B plasburst cannons, C-10 plasburst cannons, CM-2 Arana cluster missiles, PT-240 proton torpedos, T-350 torpedos, M-IO4 ion missiles, M-IO8 ion missiles, TU-C6 laser turrets, IT-11 ion turrets and S50C deflector shields.[1]
In 3 ABY,[7] it was commonly sold for thirty credits a unit by a wide variety of merchants throughout the galaxy including on Toshara. Kijimi, Tatooine and Akiva.[1]
