Q5-7070 was a B1-series battle droid in the droid army of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. While on Opop Hibbedit, Q5-7070 fell out of his squad's Multi-Troop Transport due to unsecured straps, landing in the jungle below. The battle droid attempted to make his way back to his squad, but was attacked by the creatures of the world. He eventually rejoined the squad, but was unable to report the problem to the squad's lieutenant, and thus fell back out again as they moved positions.[2] These events were later recorded in "The One With the Green Thumb."[6]

Behind the scenes

Q5-7070 first appeared in the comic story "Tales from Wild Space: The Big March."[2] Ahead of release, Q5-7070's story was teased by comic artist Nick Brokenshire,[4] who commented that the comic might have been the most colorful story he had ever illustrated up to that point.[7]
