Prototype A4-961 was an experimental grenade developed by the Tagge Corporation.[1] Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY,[2] Lady Domina Tagge—the company's leader—utilized the prototype against a pair of KX-series security droids after they had been infected by the Scourge and began to attack her. As she threw the grenade, Tagge referred to it as a premature test of the prototype, though noted as it destroyed the droids that it still provided her with data.[1]
