Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex of the British royal family is the younger son of King Charles III and Princess Diana. Together with his brother, Prince William, and actor Tom Hardy and singer Gary Barlow, he portrayed a stormtrooper of the First Order in the 2017 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi. The four filmed a scene in which they escort the protagonist Finn, played by John Boyega,[1] in a turbolift aboard the First Order dreadnought Supremacy as he infiltrates it. The cameos were not credited in the film's credit, and the scene was cut from film's release.[2]

In the afternoon of April 19, 2016, the princes had visited the set of The Last Jedi as a celebration of the British creative talent behind the Star Wars saga. At Pinewood Studios, the royals battled each other with lightsaber props, received Wookiee hugs from Chewbacca—played by Joonas Suotamo—and met the cast and crew of the film, with Prince Harry sitting in the cockpit of an A-wing starfighter while talking with actor Mark Hamill.[3] The two princes later attended The Last Jedi's European Premiere, hosted at the Royal Albert Hall on December 12, 2017 to support their and the Duchess of Cambridge's The Royal Foundation charity.[4]
