The Premion Mk. II power generator was a power generator manufactured by Kuat Drive Yards. They included a rectangular-sided brown body with a protruding metallic gray portion in the middle. Two brass-colored pipes looped from one end of the central portion to the other.[1]
The Multi-Troop Transports built by Baktoid Armor Workshop for the Trade Federation's droid army were equipped with multiple Premion Mk. II power generators. The generators were stacked in the sides of the vehicle beside a power converter grid and worked hard to power the repulsorlifts that carried the transport's solid armor and load of battle droids. The Multi-Troop Transports deployed during the Battle of Naboo[1] in 32 BBY[2] used Premion Mk. II power generators.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Premion Mk. II power generator was first mentioned in the 2018 reference book Star Wars: Complete Vehicles. It appeared as part of material reprinted[1] from the 1999 reference book Star Wars: Episode I Incredible Cross-Sections, which was written by David West Reynolds, illustrated by Richard Chasemore and Hans Jenssen, and marked the first mention of the power generator in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[3]
