A pickle was a good sold at the establishment Pedra's Pickles & Provisions on the Outer Rim Territories moon Eirie. The store no longer operated, however,[1] by 382 BBY.[2]

Behind the scenes

Pickles were mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2022 novel Convergence, written by Zoraida Córdova as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's Phase II.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, pickles were introduced with the appearance of swamp pickles in "Hard Sell,"[3] the eleventh episode of the second season of the animated Ewoks television series, which originally aired on October 25, 1986."[4] In the real world, a pickle is any food that has undergone the pickling preservation process.[5]
