Phillian

Phillian was a human during the early days of space travel. According to legend, Phillian was the captain of star-faring galleon that participated in a competition to map a safe route to the rumored planet of Batuu. During the competition the crew found themselves among a graveyard of ships that had previously failed to make it to the planet. Instead of continuing on to the planet the crew begun to strip the derelict ships for treasures and resources.

When the Ravenstar which was also part of the competition caught up to the galleon. Phillian proposed a race with the much smaller Ravenstar for the final approach to the planet. Initially blasting forward, Phillian had miss calculated the fuel consumption with the added weight of the newly acquired treasure and the ship became stalled and a drift. After the Ravenstar made it to the planet they returned to render assistance and accept their reward.^[1]
