A competition that according to legend was arranged by a group of shipping and trading companies in order to map a safe route to a rumored planet in the Outer Rim Territories that would eventually be known as Batuu.

Three ships participated in the competition, two larger galleon ships and a smaller ship called the Ravenstar. The first galleon was attacked by pirates and left a drift. The second galleon made it close to the planet but became a drift after stopping to loot previous derelict ships of their treasure. In the end the Ravenstar made it to Batuu and from there unlocked further expansion into Wild Space.^[1]
