"When most folks think about peppers, they instantly assume they're going to be spicy. But some peppers have a natural sweetness to 'em that opens up a whole new world of cookin' possibility."
―Strono Tuggs[1]

Pepper was a type of vegetable[1] and food additive[2] which came in both spicy and sweet varieties.[1] While on a mission to the planet Denon during the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic agents Luke Skywalker and Nakari Kelen found a picnic table stocked with salt and pepper after ordering cartoons of noodles from a nearby noodle bar. Kelen added pepper to the nerf nuggets that came with her noodles before eating them.[2] The garden of Wedge Antilles and Norra Wexley had peppers in it.[4] Artiodac chef Strono Tuggs invented the dish Roasted Chando Peppers from Chandrilan chando peppers, a sweet and edible variety of the vegetable.[1]
