Pela (Path of the Open Hand)

Pela was a Togruta[1] who was a member of the Path of the Open Hand.[2] In 382 BBY,[3] Pela lived at the healing house on Jedha with the other members of the Path. When the Jedi Master Silandra Sho traveled to the almshouse to speak with individuals who had been wounded in a bombing of the Second Spire, Pela told the Jedi she was not welcome at the building as the Path believed the Jedi abused the Force and refused to let her in. The Herald arrived shortly after and allowed the Jedi and the Church of the Force adjunct Keth Cerepath in.[2]
