Pedar Solardo was a Human male from Taanab. A former mercenary, Solardo relocated to Bespin and joined the Bespin Wing Guard after witnessing Lando Calrissian's guile against the Norulac Freebooters, a pirate gang that regularly raided Taanab.[1] He was working in Cloud City during Darth Vader's seizing of the city in 3 ABY. Solardo, alongside fellow Wing Guardsmen Corman Jeihn, Helder Spinoza, Gir Endac, Bialar Selis, and Razell Tameron, proceeded to ambush an Imperial unit led by Lieutenant Sheckil while they were transporting Princess Leia Organa, Chewbacca, and C-3PO to Vader's shuttle, having been secretly notified by Calrissian via Lobot.[2]
He had black hair and a beard.[2]
Behind the scenes
A photo of this unnamed character appeared on the package of Kenner's first "Bespin Security Guard" action figure in 1980, and was likely an image of an extra on the set of Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back, though the action figure itself was based on Helder Spinoza.[3]
