Biography
- "She is a combat expert who is leading the endeavor to rid Mos Eisley of these bothersome hoodlums. There's none better."
- ―Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt, to a spacer
R'dawc was a criminal[3] and an expert of hand-to-hand combat who lived in Mos Eisley, Tatooine.[2]
After the Battle of Yavin, Peawp R'dawc worked for Mikdanyell Guh'rantt, the mayor of Mos Eisley, and was tasked to take care of the thugs who preyed on the city.[1] In 1 ABY,[4] she managed to get individuals to deal with the problem. While affiliated with Jabba the Hutt's criminal organization, the spacers were directly employed by the Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt.[1] The spacers rid the outskirts of Mos Eisley of undesirable swoopers,[5] scavengers, moisture thieves,[6] gunrunners,[7] malfunctioning battle droids and escaped criminals.[8] Peawp R'dawc eventually tasked the spacers to defeat Vaigon Shinn's muggers in their hideout.[9][10] Among the spacers that did Peawp R'dawc's dirty work, one of them was an Imperial spy. The latter suspected R'dawc to be a criminal working for the corrupted mayor under the guise of being a contract worker. The Imperial operative presumed that the spacers were in fact eliminating criminal rivals of Peawp R'dawc and the mayor.[11]
Around the same time, she also owned the R'dawc Bodyguard Agency, a bodyguard agency based in Mos Eisley. Her clients included Otwi Opawl, Walter Orvett and Tobo.[2]
Behind the scenes
Peawp R'dawc was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[12] Peawp R'dawc was added to the game with the release of the "Publish 17," on May 26, 2005.[13] She used to be a specialized trainer providing quests to the beginner players who had chosen a "brawler" career.[2] The "brawler" profession was later removed from the game upon the release of the "Publish 25," a.k.a. the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005,[13] and Peawp R'dawc's quests were widely revamped to be available for every new players.[1]
The card "Moisture Thieves" of the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game misspelled her name as "Peawp R'dwac."[14]

- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
