Parozha VII was a supply space station operated by a family of Parwans allegedly over numerous generations.[1] Located in the Parozha system in the Dustig sector of the Mid Rim Territories,[2] the station once supplied the Galactic Empire, but eventually instead aided the fledgling New Republic after the Battle of Endor[1] in 4 ABY.[4] Around 5 ABY,[3] the Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing attacked Parozha VII to steal supplies. Squadrons Two, Three and Four from the fighter wing swarmed the outpost and destroyed the docked starships. The squadrons then blasted open cargo bays, suffocating the inhabitants and allowing cargo to be ejected for the[1] Imperial II-class Star Destroyer[5] Edict to retrieve through the destroyer's tractor beam.[1]

In Shadow Fall, the Dark Secrets of Alphabet Squadron Revealed on StarWars.com (backup link) states that the events of Shadow Fall: An Alphabet Squadron Novel are set approximately half a year after the Battle of Endor. Before the Awakening states that Kes Dameron and Shara Bey moved to Yavin 4 around six months after the Battle of Endor, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas establishes to be in 5 ABY. Therefore, the events of Shadow Fall must also take place around that year.
