Paias Reef

Paias Reef was an individual who had joined the Rokana Raiders pirate group^[2] by 3 ABY^[1] and was subsequently punished for hiding a stash of treasure along with fellow pirate Shifty Lin Vane from the rest of the raiders. As a result, Stinger Tash, the raider's leader sentenced both Reef and Vane to be thrown out of an airlock. Their execution was a violation of the raider's Rokana Code which required important decisions to be decided by a crew vote. The offense and punishment were recorded on a list of punishments administered to members of the pirate group, and a copy of the list was stored on a datapad in the raider's brig while they were based at the Khepi Tomb^[2] in 3 ABY.^[1]

That year,^[1] the thief Kay Vess read the datapad detailing Reef's punishment after she escaped her cell in the brig with the help of Nix, her merqaal companion.^[2]

Behind the scenes

Paias Reef was mentioned in the "A Pirate's Fortune" expansion for the video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft^[2] on May 15, 2025.^[3] In the game, they were mentioned in a datapad titled "Punishments" which players could read during the "Brave the Unknown" main quest.^[2]
