The Overbridge, also known as the war room,[2] was the bridge and main command center of the DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station, the Galactic Empire's first moon-sized battle station. It housed duty posts for Death Star Troopers,[3] such as "Tulip" style Imperial work stations, and a large pentagonal viewscreen that displayed the status of the Death Star superlaser,[4] as well as designated posts for Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin amongst other Imperial officers' and a HoloNet booth for communicating with the Emperor.[5] A conference room was located beside it.[6]
