The Outer Rim Alliance was an association of refugees in the Outer Rim formed due to the inability of the New Republic to defend the Outer Rim from the threat of the Yuuzhan Vong.
History
The Outer Rim Alliance was created following the Battle of Shramar highlighted the inability of the New Republic to defend distant Outer Rim worlds from the Yuuzhan Vong. It was formed by escapees from the battle who had gathered in Wild Space. Refugees from Artorias under Queen Nina Galfridian, Princess Kaye Galfridian, and Arbeloa.[1] joined New Republic forces from Dibrook and the surrounding region, under Admiral Bylsma.[1] as well as some Imperial Remnant forces from Shramar under Captain Bristow,[1] and various pirate, smuggler, mercenary, and other private vessels.[1]
The journalist Cianba also journeyed with the Alliance.[1]
