Orichalc

Orichalc was a gold-like metal mined on Naboo.^[1] The Naboo crest headdress of Senator Padmé Amidala was made of orichalc.^[2] A sphere of pure orichalc was part of Catalog Nineteen, a catalog of rare items collected by the Galactic Empire since the end of the Clone Wars.^[3]

In reality, orichalc is a yellow metal prized in ancient times, probably a form of brass or a similar alloy, although some writers treated it as a fabulous metal.^[4]
