Orichalc was a gold-colored metal that could be used to craft items such as jewelry and suspensa beads. Queen Padmé Amidala wore orichalc suspensas on her escoffiate headpiece during her trip to the Galactic Senate[1] in 32 BBY.[3] She also owned a Naboo crest headdress made of the metal.[4]
Orichalc could also be used in lightsaber construction.[2]
