Ora Nem was a Force-sensitive Human female and the lover of the Hidden Chain defector, Jemala Ha'rangir.[1]

Biography

Born Force-sensitive, she was never recruited by either the Jedi or the Sith due to her repressing her Force-sensitivity. She later manifested her Force-sensitivity after remembering the traumatic event which caused her to repress them to begin with. However, she was soon after captured by Jemala Ha'rangir and her elite team of Mandalorian who were specialized in capturing force-sensitives. On their way back to the prison ship, the prison ship was destroyed. Jemala took this opportunity to free the Force-sensitives she had captured, in doing do falling in love with Ora. Knowing that Heta Kol would hunt them down, they fled and hid on Tatooine, where they were hunted by Sanlo Raal and her crew. Due to Raal and her crew's use of stealth field generators, Ora invented a device which could detect and disrupt the energy fields the Regulator's used. She and Jemala used this to stay one step ahead of Raal.[1]

Jekiah Ordo received a distress signal that he believed was sent by Jemala, and sent the Alliance Commander and Akaavi Spar to try and broker a deal with Jemala, however when the two first arrived in the safehouse, Jemala attacked them, believing them to be working for Raal, but they were prevented from fighting further when Ora appeared. Recognizing that there was some miscommunication happening, Jemala and the Alliance Commander started to talk about what was happening, however Ora was apprehensive about trusting them. Jemala managed to convince her that this could be the opportunity they needed to finally be free. Jemala agreed that, if the Alliance Commander dealt with Raal and Raal's thugs, then she would provide information on the Hidden Chain, provided that she and Ora were allowed to go free. The Commander agreed, and killed Raal and her crew. Returning to Jemala, Jemala then handed over the information about Heta Kol that knew, however Ora was still worried, fearing that she and Jemala would spend their entire lives running, something which Akaavi said was a possibility. The Commander then suggested that they escort Jemala and Ora to Odessen, where they could start their life anew, which the pair agreed to.[1]

Behind the scenes

  • The choice to escort the couple to Odessen is the light-side choice. There are no dark-side choices, however the alternative is to leave them to fend for themselves, wherever that may be.
  • Ora is referred to by the in-game files via a different name, Lora Wen.
