Jemala Ha'rangir was a Mandalorian female and a member of Clan Ha'rangir, however she defected from the Hidden Chain due to her love for Ora Nem, causing Heta Kol to put a bounty on her head.[1]

Biography

A member of Clan Ha'rangir, she was one of Heta Kol and the Hidden Chain's most loyal supporters, holding a position within the Hidden Chain that Jekiah Ordo described as 'very comfortable'; She was part of an elite team that captured force-sensitive individuals so that Heta Kol and the Hidden Chain might benefit from them. It was during her activites in this team that she met Ora Nem, as she had been assigned to capture her. Jemala took Ora, along with other prisoners, to a prison ship, however as they were en route to the ship it got attacked and the Hidden Chain was plunged into chaos. Jemala took this oppourtunity to free Ora and the others, then helped them escape. This angered Heta Kol, and she put an bounty on the two, specifically for Sanlo Raal and her crew. Jemala and Ora ended up hiding in a small safehouse, north of Camp Karnori on Tatooine.[1]

Jekiah recieved a distress signal that he believed was sent by Jemala, and sent the Alliance Commander and Akaavi Spar to try and broker a deal with Jemala, however when the two first arrived in the safehouse, Jemala attacked them, believeing them to be working for Raal, but they were prevented from fighting further when Ora appeared. Recognising that there was some miscommunication happening, Jemala and the Alliance Commander started to talk about what was happening. Jemala agreed that, if the Alliance Commander dealt with Raal and Raal's thugs, then she would provide information on the Hidden Chain, provided that she and Ora were allowed to go free. The Commander agreed, and killed Raal and her crew. Returning to Jemala, Jemala then handed over the information about Heta Kol that she knew, namely that she was travelling through Sith space unopposed and uncloaked, which suggested that she had help from someone amoungst the Sith. The Commander then suggested that they escort Jemala and Ora to Odessen, where they could start their life anew, which the pair agreed to.[1]

Behind the scenes

  • The choice to escort the couple to Odessen is the light-side choice. There are no dark-side choices, however the alternative is to leave them to fend for themselves, wherever that may be.
