Ootoos were a sentient species from Ootoo Prime. Ayva Ackler was an Ootoo miner who lived during the High Republic Era.[1]

Behind the scenes

Ootoo, albeit unidentified, first appeared in "Visitor's Day," the first part of the tenth episode of the first season of the Disney+ and Disney Junior animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures,[2] which aired on August 2, 2023.[3] The species was later identified as Ootoo in "Mystery of the Opal Cave," the first part of the sixteenth episode of the same season.[1] The Ootoo species was designed by India Boeckh.[4]
