Oolon's Star Almanac was a fictional catalog of planets and star systems and their cultures and traditions. According to the book, its author, Oolon, had catalogued the worlds listed in the almanac during his travels. The Emperor's Royal Guard Commander Halland Goth and his droid TC-99 uncovered the almanac on a set of data tapes in an obscure and obsolete format among a bulk cache of droid matrices they purchased. Although Goth was initially annoyed at the lack of useful information in the almanac, he came to view it as an enjoyable diversion.[1]
