The Odos system was a one[1] of the Odos systems, a group of star systems[2] situated within the Meridian sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[1] It contained the planet Odos.[2]
The Odos system was located near the Chorios systems.[2] It was also located near the Exodo system[3] and the Spangled Veil Nebula.[4] Its planet Odos was surrounded by gas clouds.[5]
In 13 ABY,[6] while at Exodo II, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian were attacked by an Imperial fleet from the nearby Antemeridian sector.[5] They lost their pursuers by flying the Millennium Falcon through the gas clouds of Odos and the fringes of the Spangled Veil Nebula.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Odos system first appeared in Planet of Twilight, a 1997 novel authored by Barbara Hambly.[5] It was first named by the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Jason Fry and Daniel Wallace, which placed it in grid square R-7.[7]
