Octani

Octani were a race of aliens that lived in the galaxy. They were tall and bulky with tan skin, four eyes, and four arms.^[1]

Poe Dameron and Finn encountered several Octani on a mission where they obtained parts for the Resistance from an Octani named Dhar Wat, who had them confiscated by First Order officers on a train.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Octani are identical in appearance to the Volpai, a sentient species introduced in "Lethal Trackdown," the twenty-second episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars' second season.^[2] Furthermore, an individual implied to be an Octani with feminine traits^[1] is identical to individuals with feminine traits hailing from the Codru-Ji species in Star Wars Legends, as pictured in the 2003 supplemental book to Star Wars Roleplaying Game, Ultimate Alien Anthology.^[3] As Lucasfilm has not yet provided further clarification on the distinction between these species, this article treats them as separate.
