The Obbic family, also known as the Seventh Ruling Family[2] by 27 BBY,[3] was an elite Chiss family that was a member of the Nine Ruling Families of the Chiss Ascendancy's Aristocra.[1] The Obbic family was allied with their fellow Ruling Mitth family.[4]. In around 19 BBY[5] a female Chiss served as the speaker for the Obbic family.
The Obbic family dominated the planet Sposia.[4]
Obbic'lia'nuf was a member of the Obbic family, who held the rank of Senior Commander within the Chiss Expansionary Defense Fleet, serving aboard Admiral Ar'alani's Vigilant Nightdragon man-of-war.[1]
