Nyla Quinn was a Twi'lek female Jedi Master of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. She served as the Master of the Jedi temple on the planet Dalna. Kind and wizened, Quinn did her best to help the people of Dalna despite their suspicion of Jedi.[1]

Biography

Nyla Quinn lived in the Dalna temple with Jedi Knights Yacek Sparkburn and Lyssa Votz. In 230 BBY, Quinn met Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh and her Padawan Imri Cantaros when the pair came to Dalna investigating the temple's reports of Dalnan families going missing, inviting the younger Jedi to eat and rest at the temple. Quinn observed a lightsaber duel between Rwoh and Sparkburn, critiquing their form. She then welcomed Honesty Weft and Sha'nai Plouth, trainees of the Dalnan protection corps, into the temple, and they all shared a meal while discussing the missing Dalnans and Plouth's sighting of the Nihil. Quinn stayed at the temple while Rwoh, Cantaros, Sparkburn, Votz, Weft, and Plouth went to investigate the Maawat Mountains on the other side of the planet.[4]

Later, Quinn traveled toward the Maawat Juncture on trappu-back in search of the Nihil with Rwoh, Sparkburn, Weft, Plouth, and Dalnan security chief Tracer Lore. On the way there, a boy named Liam who had escaped from Nihil captivity attempted to steal Quinn's food, but she stopped him by lifting him with the Force, then offered him her instant bun. Liam told the group that Tempest Runner Kara Xoo's Nihil were holding Avon Starros captive. Quinn and the other Jedi found the Nihil camp and freed the captives there.[4]
