Norsid was a planet under the control of the Galactic Empire.[2] Sometime prior to 9 BBY,[3] the Jedi survivor Cal Kestis worked with members of the Partisans in an attempt to spark a coup to overthrow the Imperial regime oppressing the planet. The coup would ultimately fail, a fact that was later referenced by Cal's one-time captor, the Imperial Senator of Utapau, Daho Sejan.[2]
