Doctor "Doc" Nindle was a Mon Calamari who ran a medcenter in the Dalnan town of Ferdan[1] in 382 BBY.[2] Shortly before the Night of Sorrow, he examined Ric Farazi, determining that she had likely been poisoned while staying with the Path of the Open Hand. He had recently treated a child named Garda, who had been stricken with similar symptoms after eating at the Path's soup kitchen. Nindle treated Farazi with an antitoxin, a stim pack, and a defib unit, but without knowing exactly what toxin she had ingested, he was unable to save her.[1]
Nindle was an old friend of Garda's mother Yvanna and had attempted to save her husband's life after a farming accident. He had previously diagnosed her with an allergy to a certain legume.[1]
Nindle reported his suspicions that the Path had poisoned Farazi and Garda to Sheriff Pickwick, and later attended a meeting with Pickwick and several Jedi to discuss the situation unfolding on Dalna.[1]
