The Niele system was located in the Southern Core portion of[2] the Colonies.[1] It shared its name with the siege of Niele, a conflict fought in 35 BBY.[3]

Behind the scenes

The Niele system was introduced in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square K-13.[1]
