New Republic Intelligence was the successor to the Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service.[1] Following the Battle of Endor and the establishment of the New Republic, the new government established its own intelligence division, which was headed by Chief Airen Cracken.[2] Gallius Rax leaked early reports of an Imperial fleet gathering at Jakku, knowing the news would reach New Republic Intelligence.[1]
